We don’t outsource our manufacturing or our service. From handshakes to handcrafting your tub, we’re with you every step of the way. Designed, built and operated on the Sunshine Coast since 2001, AlumiTubs are made with locally milled Western Red Cedar from within our province. We proudly support our local economy employing a team of highly skilled craftesmen who precision build each wood fired hot tub by hand, pressure testing it for quality before leaving our shop. With a fully loaded trailer we make our way by ferry through the Strait of Georgia to the mainland where our wood fired hot tubs are shipped to families across North America. AlumiTubs are 100% recyclable and carbon neutral. Built to stand the test of time, they’re made to become your family heirloom. Since 2001 we’ve been building tubs for families like yours. With 100s of 5 star reviews, you can be sure we’ll be there when you call. A classic cedar hot tub rooted in Canadian heritage, AlumiTubs are uniquely made with a marine grade aluminum foundation for the functions cabin owners need. Place it on a flat surface, fill from any clean water source – salt or fresh, light a fire and heat. Holding its temperature for days at a time even in the harshest winter conditions, you’ll never worry about being cold in an AlumiTub. With an initial heat time of 2-4 hours by wood fire (or half the time with a secondary fuel source), our triple insulated tub requires no electricity or chemical water treatments, are naturally hygienic, and customizable for residential use with filtration and secondary heating options for a more sustainable hot tub for pared down living at its finest. For the sake of the planet we leave our kids and the generations to come, we’re committed to sustainable manufacturing practices, building a longevity product that will stand the test of time, that’s 100% recyclable, and that fosters a connection to nature. We offset the carbon released from the shipment of AlumiTubs and keep our business locally owned and operated. Each of our wood burning hot tubs are built with British Columbia Western Red Cedar and sourced from fallen logs within our community as often as possible. We donate 1% of all proceeds to good causes in our small town and beyond, with certification to prove it, and for every tub built, we plant a handful of trees to regenerate the forest.
