Nova is a shop, an art studio, a gallery and a cultural hub of Gabriola. It supports local artists and makers year-round, by providing a venue to showcase their work, alongside books by local authors and publishers, gift items, natural skincare, and home decor. We carefully choose what we bring in from other small businesses, keeping as close to our region as possible.
The owner Kate Wood is an artist in many mediums, with 23 years experience working in all aspects of the local art scene. Her private studio is on the premises.
This space post-pandemic is being built up as a social hub for artists with workshops art openings, and book readings.
