Caring in the past is merely keeping a child safe and clean. The concept of caring in the emerging future has changed; it is an intentional teaching practice that requires specialized knowledge and skills about children, their learning, growth, and development as whole human beings. It is a way of teaching trust, respect, and the value of human relationships.Science has proven that caring and nourishing young children from the inside and out through fun play, wholesome cognitive, emotional, and social learnings, life skills, and healthy eating will prepare them for school and beyond. They emerged as resilient. emphatic, healthy mature human beings who are mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared to adapt to the uncertainties and challenges the 21st-century world poses. Let us help our children survive and thrive in these trying times.
The virtual classroom is open to young learners, ages 3 to 5, and their caregivers. Virtual sessions include play-based activities such as interactive reading, writing, arts & crafts, fun science experiments, music & rhymes, and fun, neuroscience-based lessons. At the end of each classroom session, a play-based activity may be assigned for children and caregivers at home and presented to the class later.
The program promotes school readiness skills to make the transition to school less traumatic to the child, as well, as gives the child a strong foundation, in terms of the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development for future learning and success in life. These skills and learnings include language development, self-control, self-confidence, fine-motor skills, gross-motor skills, social skills, self-care skills, critical thinking skills, and pre-writing skills.
Preschool schedule: 10-11:30 am or 1:00 -2:30 pm. Monday thru Friday (except statutory holidays)
Fee: $200 a month (includes free advice/consultation/handouts to parents or caregivers)
