Handmade jewellery by local designer. Aimée is attending Vancouver Community College, Jewellery Art and Design Diploma 2020-2022. After forging a career in teaching soils and sustainable agriculture Aimée is following her passion for designing jewellery. Her lifelong love of geology, gemstones and minerals has come full circle. From teaching the processes of rock breaking down into soils, to creating adornments made from crystals and metals from the earth. She believes adamantly in environmental protection and caring for our planet by using resources wisely. Examples of her work pay homage to the beauty of rock and gemstones that were created millions of years before humans, celebrating the commanding magnificence of these unusually geometric repeating patterns in nature. Honouring rock formations that look like they were created by giants.
