Ethically sewn in Canada from recycled plastic bottles, to empower conscious women everywhere with slow-fashion activewear, so we can all feel good about giving back while moving forward with our fitness goals.
All of Bewildher’s garments are locally sewn and printed from materials locally sourced, and only sold in smaller independently owned boutique retail stores. By using only high quality long lasting material and offering each print as a limited-edition release Bewildher seeks to make each garment feel like a special keepsake, a work of art to be cherished.
Bewildher has chosen to switch to a pre-order based business model that effectively eliminates material [egg] waste from leftover inventory. There is significant enough financial gain that we can in turn ensure LOCAL garment workers earn fair wages while also offering a majorly reduced pre-order price.
In addition to only sewing what is needed, Bewildher leggings contain 3.4 recycled plastic bottles in every pair and use recycled paper in our printing process and packaging.
By emerging as a non-traditional pre-order only activewear brand, Bewildher can offer an innovative way for active women to reduce their carbon footprint, be more environmentally friendly and have social impact that empowers other women.
Giving Back:
We plant a tree per order, where it’s needed most. A mature tree will sequester 10x more CO2 per year than is created making one pair of our tights via One Tree Planted.
We’ve gone carbon neutral throughout our supply chain via Green Story
$1 per order is donated to help a teenage girl attend camp. Through Girl In The Wild
As a member, we’re committed to donating 1% of our total annual revenue, not just profit, to environmental initiatives via 1% for the planet.
Our garments are sewn in Vancouver, BC, Canada at a female-owned garment factory that pays fair wages.
