Bowen Island Dog Ranch

Bowen Island Dog Ranch has Reopened!

If dogs could speak, what kind of boarding stay away from home would they ask for? Probably one with lots of joyful outdoor romping, dog friends galore to hang out with, and great people to love and care for them.

In Metro Vancouver, that place is the Bowen Island Dog Ranch, providers of an amazing vacation for you dog—a boarding destination approved by literally thousands of dogs over the past 13 years.

At the Dog Ranch the pups enjoy supervised play with other dogs throughout the day and evening, roaming the Dog Ranch’s intriguing forest and trails all while getting oodles of loving attention from our team. Tip-to-tail health checks are conducted every day for each dog, and boarding rooms are scrupulously clean, warm, well ventilated and very comfortable.

We are offer an immersive Board & Train program, which is shaped around a basic truth: That a well-trained, mentally stimulated dog is a happier dog. Instinctively, dogs love co-operating and communicating with humans. Using only positive reinforcement techniques, our entire team love to help them (and you) improve those skills.

We are continuing to offer Classic Boarding for dogs in need of a great fun boarding experience, and we’re also excited to introduce our NEW boarding experience Enriched Boarding, which takes your dog’s boarding experience to the next level; adding special activities for more stimulation, from exciting brain games to nature walks to extra games or ball time–all to assure an even happier, calmer dog.

We are the un-kennel, a canine-centric community set in nature where leashes are unnecessary, and “dog” is spoken fluently by our expert carers and trainers, every day of the year. It will always be our commitment to keep our guests happy, healthy and safe with us at the Ranch.

We respectfully acknowledge our place of work is within the ancestral, traditional and unceded territories of the Xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səl̓ilwətaʔɬ/sel̓ílwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and that we serve the Peoples of the many Nations throughout British Columbia.
