But truly, it has been an experience that we believe will help us in the long run. We were able to make a product that is of the highest quality and reflective of what we will be producing once we get to make the drinkable stuff. We did our research, tried SO MANY hand sanitizers that were harsh and so we came up with the perfect formula. All Natural, easy on the hands and smells amazing. We have been able custom label and bottle for gifts, and were so fortunate to work with our Film Community, the Indigenous RCMP Community from Chilliwack and the Arts Program at SFU. Meeting other business owners who have helped us through the process of packaging, bottling and labelling have been great and we have all now new working relationships that will continue through the years once our distillery is open too.
We never intended to manufacture Hand Sanitizer. But, we decided with our skill and ability to jump in and help, we joined the many distillers across BC and helped provide a much needed product. Joining the marketplace was a challenge, as we had never produced anything like this before, let alone learn how to manufacture and distribute. We are still learning everyday, and meeting business’ of all types. We all have in common now, the need for hand sanitizer and so little by little we are educating customers and the importance of healthy hands, quality ingredients and acknowledging how much it means to us that people shop local and continue to support small business.
