Dirt Squirrel Apparel

LGBT+ Owned/Operated Premium Casual Fashion and Underwear for Men

A Dirt Squirrel is talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it. They are all those things, but they are actually the best people.

The Dirt Squirrel brand was started in 2013 by two young partners in university – an experimental time consisting of moral inconsistencies, questionable character and being naturally drawn or aroused to the idea of anything underwear related.

Wade Hopwo and Daniel Lypchuk, the founders and owners of Dirt Squirrel Co. decided to level up their underwear game and help others along the way, endeavouring to design a line of underwear that is comfortable, form fitting and made from premium fabrics such as bamboo fibre; a fabric that is not only soft, but also known for its eco-friendly, anti-bacterial, sweat absorbent and insulating qualities.

With Dirt Squirrels striving to never be the same, show-stopping and put things in a blender, unconventional accessories such as their decorative hand fans were added to the collection along with an assortment of apparel including, but not limited to hats, sweaters, t-shirts, crop tops and loungewear.

Grabbing life’s random opportunities by the nuts, the Dirt Squirrel brand cultivated its own reality TV modelling competition called, The Whole Package, which aired its first season on OutTV. This competition sought out to find the next brand ambassador taking 21 models and narrowing it down to the truest Dirt Squirrel of the bunch. Its founders, Dan and Wade judged and mentored (mostly judged) the contestants vetting them for who they wanted to represent the company they gave birth to.
