We came across this store coincidentally when we were taking a walk around the Trout Lake Park and felt hungry! A great bakery which sells not only pastries, but also dry goods and flour! Since it is our first time here, the staff at the till was very friendly and kindly introduced us to the pastries still available (it was nearing closing time so not much was left). We got a pan loaf, seeded pan loaf, potato buns, apple turnover and the best ever chocolate cookie and trail mix cookie. All of them were great! The loaves are sourdough and went great with a very typical olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip! The other pastries were also delicious, especially the cookies. I'd recommend the loaves and potato bun as they were a good size for the price. The cookies and turnover are comparatively pricey, I'd not be able to afford having a $5 cookie and $8 turnover frequently... They ARE worth a try though, just enough sweetness and filling in them! Love the ambience and interior design of the cafe; it's a pity we aren't able to dine in due to the pandemic.

The staff were nice people. The cappuccino was meh and very small The lemon tart was over the top sweet and a bit too acidic. Might try some of their breads later, but no more pastry and hot beverages for me :/ Update: we got one of their olive breads and it was amazing! bumping to 4 stars.

I love this place!!! So much heart and soul is poured into each bag of flour, baked good and coffee. You have to try the sourdough 😊
