Such a beautiful place, very clean, sadly with COVID-19 the bakery don’t let client in, look that they have cooks books as other nice things to buy. I love the bread and some of the sweet, very friendly stuff. Will come back when will be open to walk in

It was a Sunday afternoon, I stopped by the tools library across to pick up something and saw that finally there was no line in front of Flourist so I finally walked up for an order ( I recently moved to the neighborhood and have been eyeing on getting something here for a while). Oo, chocolate chip cookie. I was skeptical when I saw they named it “best chocolate chip cookie ever.” I got it so I can give it a try and give some critical feedback as a chocolate chip true lover. Its one of those fat cookies that gives you an explosion of flavors. Crusty on the edge and filled with chocolate chunks of high quality, perfectly sweetened dough, and the right amount of flaky salt. You can taste that each ingredient is chosen with care and quality. Finally, you can taste the hint of expresso on top of all the other flavors. I got the seeded sourdough bread for breakfast toasts. They were quite generous with the nuts, and like the cookie, you can taste the quality of each ingredient in the bread. You can almost imagine the bakers kneading it with care with it fills your mouth with flavors and heart with joy. Flourist is a place that cares. Truly, I thank you for creating these beautiful creatures to be enjoyed (yes, I see food as creatures ;)).

This is the best local flour mill and bakery/cafe!! Everything I’ve tried has been amazing. Cheese dream toast is a must, as is the hummus toast and seasonal toast. Baked goods are delicious, and the quality of their products are top of the line. I can’t wait for them to reopen so I can have one of their addicting chai lattes 😋

I placed an order for contactless delivery, logically assuming that they'd leave it outside my apt unit, as all deliveries are so that there would be no contact. When the driver arrived, I was told that I'd actually have to go down to meet him to pick up my order because drivers are not allowed into buildings due to Covid 19, which is understandable given the situation we are in, but that was not stated on their order page. Contactless deliveries and having to meet the driver to pick up your order are two very different things, especially when you are recovering from a foot injury and not mobile, which is my case, which is why I ordered delivery, not pick up. Even though this happened because of a lack of clarity about their delivery policies, i.e., no mention that deliveries would need to be picked up downstairs and not actually left outside their unit door prior to placing the order, I was refused a refund. At the very least, they said that they would donate my order away. That is the only good thing that came from this; that someone in need will be helped.
