Hello BC! You might be asking yourself what does and occupational therapist do. OTs can help people get back to activities such as getting around, bathroom access, work, and hobbies etc. After meeting with a client, we might recommend a piece of medical equipment, a different way to do a task, OT-disability management consultation or ergonomic office equipment. Some clients have OT coverage through ICBC, extended health, health spending account, or WSBC. There may even be funding available from the Small Business Work Accessibility Grant! I have a lot of experience working in the Fraser Valley area, so if you need an OT keep me in mind!
