Gibsons Public Market - BC Marketplace

Gibsons Public Market

Gibsons Public Market, a vibrant hub of coastal life!

The Gibsons Public Market is a vibrant hub consisting of local food merchants, a collect + release marine education centre, and a community gathering space. With a showcase of rotating local artwork throughout the building, the Public Market also offers venue rentals for events, meetings, kitchen demonstrations, and has a fully permitted commercial kitchen. Bursaries are available for non-profit groups holding community events.

Gibsons Public Market merchants include: Emelle’s Catering Market Bistro, Crazy Red’s Breads, Fisherman’s Market, Fromagerie De Baie, Goodacre Market, The Gibsons Butcher, and SoulFuel.

The Gibsons Public Market and Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre are operated by the non-profit organization, Gibsons Community Building Society, and relies heavily on the hard work and generosity of volunteers, donors and community partnerships. As pandemic restrictions continue to loosen, the Public Market looks forward to hosting community events and gatherings.
