More than 30% of the food that is created in Canada is destined for the landfill or compost. At Ginger Jars, we take the bruised, misshapen and perfectly ripe products from local grocers and turn them into delicious offerings that are all hand made.
Our soups last up to five weeks on the shelf unopened and refrigerated. We are currently testing the shelf life of our dressings and sauces. Which means, we are so proud to be giving food a second chance at consumption.
Our packaging is designed to be as waste free as possible consisting of reusable glass jars.
