Penticton Farmers’ Market - BC Marketplace

Penticton Farmers’ Market

The Penticton Farmers’ Market features a variety of farmers, crafters

The Penticton Farmers’ Market vendors come from the South Okanagan and Similkameen regions. It features a variety of farmers, crafters, prepared-food and liquor vendors. The market has a strict “make it, bake it, grow it” policy – meaning all of the produce and products sold at the market are made by the person selling them. This fosters an authentic producer/consumer relationship that the market believes makes it one of the best in Canada! Every week, customers can expect to find farm fresh fruits, veggies, meat and eggs; locally-roasted coffee; quality handmade crafts; tasty baked treats; and much more! The Penticton Farmers’ Market is located in the 100 block of Main Street and runs every Saturday from April to October.

This market is a member of the BC Association of Farmers’ Markets and now offers an online store through BC Farmers’ Markets Online. Find your local farmers’ market at bcfarmersmarkettrail.com to shop in-person or online.

Kind of cold and windy today with a few hardy vendors. But we were able to find carrots, tomatoes, salad rolls, sticky rice, fruit butters, pears and salad greens. Great shopping from enthusiastic vendors which made for a fun outing!

Went in October 2020, covid measures in place. There was a line up when we went because only a limited number of people are allowed at a time. Also, there's only one exit and entrance so we had to walk all the way to the other end of the street. Currently no dogs allowed as well. Overall, great experience. Not crowded and not a lot of shops but still lots of things to see and buy!
