Qualicum Beach Farmers’ Market - BC Marketplace

Qualicum Beach Farmers’ Market

The Qualicum Beach Farmers’ Market plays host to the community year-round.

The Qualicum Beach Farmers’ Market plays host to the community year-round as they introduce locals and visitors to the region’s most talented makers, bakers, and growers every Saturday morning.

Since the market’s inception in 1997, a genuine “Meet me at the Market” feeling has permeated this community who proudly supports their local food producers. This early morning market starts promptly with the ring of the market bell, as friends and neighbours catch up over hot coffee and fresh snacks, and vendors display their fresh farm produce alongside up-and-coming independent food producers.

This market is a member of the BC Association of Farmers’ Markets and now offers an online store through BC Farmers’ Markets Online. Find your local farmers’ market at bcfarmersmarkettrail.com to shop in-person or online.

So dissapointed to see at the least 50 percent of vendors not wearing masks at all, especially when cases are high on the island, AND they're selling food... Definitely unfortunate that market managers aren't encouraging safe procedures. When you want to shop local so badly it's super dissapointing.

This is a great Saturday Farmers Market with a good selection of foods and other goods including gifts. Very friendly people! I had a pancake breakfast at the end of the market in the Canadian Legion garden. Beautiful flowers in the garden.
