Absolutely breathtaking. We seen whales (whether off in the distance or nearby) everyday from our living room. Make sure you invest in a great pair of binoculars to see the marine life. The accomodations and finishes at this place are gorgeous and high-end. The road to get to the condo is long and winding, it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the highway so if you're doing groceries make sure you stock up!! Getting into to town was the biggest nuisance of our trip. Our GPS for some reason wouldn't ever add the additional time it took to get up that winding road. Lots of hiking and trails nearby. Pike point which is right outside of the gates was amazing. At the top of the trail you have spectacular views of Orca Alley. There's also East Sooke Park which we didn't get to do but will be doing this summer.
