The Adler Centre - BC Marketplace

The Adler Centre

A non-profit organization that provides low-cost and sliding scale counselling services, parenting workshops, free online group support, and professional development. We are dedicating to providing affordable mental health services to our community.

Our non-profit organization is a registered charity (# 106685571RR0001) which runs a counselling clinic, teaches parenting workshops, and provides free online group support. Our clinic is an internship site teaching Masters degree level counsellors during their practicum with our organization. We strive to provide counselling at the lowest cost as possible. We understand how important it is to feel supported. Our goal is to help remove financial barriers to accessing mental health support. These barriers disproportionately affect the most vulnerable and marginalized members of our community. A unique aspect to our services is the option for long term counselling for those living with compound trauma and require a longer course of support. Many other services of a similar nature cap counselling supports in ways that do not address underlying trauma, which is a common aspect of addictions and trauma cycles reproducing in individuals as well as families. Many of our programs are made entirely possible through donations.
