Nita Agustin is a queer and gender affirming counsellor offering in-person and virtual counselling based in Burnaby. Her jam is helping BIPOC and queer youth and young adults live bring out the best version of themselves.

Nita is committed to creating a safe space where clients feel validated and affirmed, no matter what they bring to the table. In the past, clients have described her as warm, trustworthy, patient, understanding, and authentic.

Nita considers life challenges to be an invitation to explore current barriers and identify ways to live life more meaningfully. She is best known for her work with teens and young adults wrestling with anxiety and confusion surrounding relationships and personal identity. She sees herself as an agent of change and seeks to work collaboratively with clients to bring about shifts to their current life situation, with the overall goal of being more connected inwardly and living a more free and authentic life. Clients have shared deep gratitude for developing greater level of self-awareness from her encounter with Nita. That way, they are able to embrace their whole self and show up more fully in their day-to-day life.

Nita considers it a great privilege to be invited to journey with clients from darkness to light. She finds the most rewarding part of her role as a counsellor was witnessing clients thrive and live a meaningful and purposeful life.
