As we get closer to wrapping up an eventful and inspiring Awards season, it’s time to meet the BC Marketplace finalists for the Premier’s People’s Choice and the Business Impact Award. Here are the five businesses that have wowed our judges and sparked our entrepreneurial spirit:

Soul Bite Food Inc. is a social enterprise that produces delicious vegan dishes created with traditional recipes from Eastern Europe and Middle East. Their line of award-winning vegan comfort food is not only delicious, but also supports charities dedicated to fighting hunger and combating food waste.
Tardigrada Design Studio creates meaningful brands and implements creative solutions that stand out no matter how much time passes. Founded by Maria Sinisterra and Shan Selvaraj in 2021, they bring international experience and multicultural knowledge to their unique designs.
Whether you prefer your brew dark, medium, or light, Atlin Mountain Coffee is as wild and full of character as the place it is roasted. This roastery’s love of coffee and the outdoors is reflected in its environmental and social ethos, where the process of making coffee includes ethical beans and renewable energy.
Nature Bee was born out of the idea that one small change can have a major impact on the world around us. This female-owned beeswax food wrap operation has quickly grown into a diverse range of eco-friendly products that are sure to become sustainable staples in your own kitchen collection. Extra kudos to Nature Bee for being nominated in both award categories!
